Our inspections are comprehensive and follow the NZS 4306:2005 residential property inspection standard. We examine the structural integrity, foundations, roofing, exterior cladding, and the interior condition of the property. We also check the subfloor and roof cavities where safe access is available.

Our fees are competitive and based on the size and location of the property.

  • Standard Residential Homes: Generally range from $450 to $850 plus GST depending on the number of bedrooms and total floor area.
  • Apartments or Units: Smaller properties typically start from $400 plus GST.

Specialist Services: Targeted moisture testing or standalone thermal imaging surveys are priced based on the scope of the work.

Thermal Imaging and Moisture Detection

Yes, we integrate thermal imaging as a standard part of our moisture and leak detection process. This high-tech approach allows us to see temperature anomalies that may indicate hidden leaks or missing insulation that the naked eye simply cannot detect.

 No, thermal cameras do not have x-ray vision. Instead, they detect tiny surface temperature differences. A cold spot on a wall might indicate moisture or a lack of insulation behind the lining. We then use a moisture meter to confirm if water is actually present.

If we identify a significant defect or high moisture levels, we will explain the implications clearly in our report. While we do not provide repair quotes ourselves, we provide you with the professional data you need to negotiate with the seller or consult a specialist contractor.

Bookings and Business

We cover the entire Auckland region, from the North Shore and Central suburbs to West Auckland, East Auckland, and South Auckland.

We are available seven days a week from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. This allows us to accommodate busy schedules and urgent pre-auction deadlines.
